We are an independently owned, patient-centered physical therapy clinic—and we are growing. We are not a high volume clinic. Our appointments are 40-60 minutes, and we treat the whole person, including the support system surrounding them. Our patients come to us for balance and vestibular conditions, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic concerns, osteoporosis, concussion recovery, fall prevention, and more. Our clinic features a Safety Overhead System that allows patients to challenge themselves and regain confidence in a protected environment. We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who wants to build meaningful relationships, provide thoughtful care, and work as part of a genuinely collaborative team. What Makes This Position Different One-on-one, patient-centered appointments 40-minute follow-up visits A diverse and clinically interesting patient population Hands-on experience with balance, neurological, vestibular, and orthopedic rehabilitation Access to our Safety Overhead System Close collaboration between PTs and PTAs A teaching-clinic environment where questions and continued learning are encouraged A supportive team that celebrates progress—both the patient's and one another's An independently owned clinic where your ideas and contributions matter What You'll Do Carry out individualized plans of care established by the supervising physical therapist Provide skilled therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, gait and balance training, therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and patient education within the PTA scope of practice Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, confidence, and independence Observe patient responses and communicate changes promptly and clearly Document treatment accurately, thoroughly, and on-time Collaborate with therapists, front-office staff, students, patients, and family members Participate in team discussions, clinical learning, and community outreach activities Create an experience in which every patient feels seen, supported, and respected You may be a great fit if you are: A licensed—or license-eligible—Physical Therapist Assistant in North Carolina A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Compassionate, dependable, curious, and clinically thoughtful Comfortable working with older adults and patients with complex conditions Interested in balance, neurological, vestibular, and orthopedic rehabilitation A clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with PTs and the rest of the care team Organized and committed to excellent documentation Motivated by patient progress rather than simply moving through a schedule New graduates with strong clinical skills, curiosity, and a commitment to learning are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current North Carolina PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position safely Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Health insurance Short-term disability
