Progressive Edge Physical Therapy is looking for aFULL TIME
Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will offer quality care to in-clinic patients, while focusing on case management and patient service needs. This clinic is privately owned and operated by a Physical Therapist. We are not part of any corporate entities. We pride ourselves in patient centered care. The therapist will be able to control their schedule based on there treatment methods. We are a small business with deep community roots. Our office is expanding and looking for a candidate who is looking to grow with us. The perfect person for this role is someone in the industry who can let loose, have fun, and truly enjoy showing up to work every day.MUST HAVE A VALID N.J. PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT LICENSE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapy interventions to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize critical care skills to address patient needs effectively
- Apply physiology knowledge to tailor treatments for specific conditions
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and medical imaging
Skills:
- Strong background in physical therapy care
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings
- Proficient in case management techniques
- Excellent patient service skills
- Knowledge of critical care practices
- Understanding of physiology and its application in therapy
- Ability to use medical terminology effectively
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
- 1-year of outpatient experience is preferred
