Job Description

Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their Rehabilitation team on a fulltime basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality physical therapy treatments and assist in rehabilitation efforts under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your contributions will directly impact our residents' quality of life by promoting independence, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness. Key Responsibilities Implement resident-specific treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist Physical Therapists with evaluations, assessments, tests, and therapeutic procedures. Guide residents through mobility activities and therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver individualized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs and goals. Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation or Office Manager. Maintain therapy equipment and report any repair or maintenance needs. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and families in a compassionate and professional manner. Support the mission, vision, and values of the client in all aspects of care delivery. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Current New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Commitment to providing resident-centered care. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay:
$32.00 - $40.00 per hour
