Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic First Rehab is seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team on a part-time basis. We are a growing, patient-centered private practice serving adults with orthopedic, post-operative, balance, gait, and general strength/mobility needs. Our clinic values high-quality hands-on care, a warm patient experience, and strong teamwork. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, balance activities, gait training, and prescribed home exercise programs Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising PT Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in our EMR Maintain a positive, professional, encouraging environment for patients and families Collaborate closely with PTs, aides, and front-desk staff to keep patient care running smoothly Qualifications Current New Jersey PTA license required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients Strong communication skills, reliability, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude Ability to provide attentive one-on-one patient care while keeping sessions productive and organized Position Details Part-time position Flexible scheduling options may be available Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive, respectful work environment with opportunities to grow as the practice expands To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction explaining your availability and outpatient experience.
