9660211-87522 Job Description Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting a small group of students near Chimayo, NM. This part-time role is designed for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) eager to make a difference in a school-based setting. Youll provide skilled PTA services to three studentsa kindergartener, fifth grader, and sixth graderaveraging about three hours per week. Direct support takes place one day a week, with the flexibility for indirect service time as needed. Youll collaborate closely with a supervising PT, who will handle evaluations and IEP meetings remotely. This assignment is available immediately and will continue until 5/20.

Qualifications:

Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in New Mexico NMPED certification Experience in educational, pediatric, or school environments as a PTA Ability to work independently while receiving supervision and direction remotely Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct PTA services to three students, adapting interventions to their unique goals and needs Collaborate with students educational teams and participate in service planning Implement exercise programs and mobility recommendations developed by the supervising remote PT Document sessions according to compliance requirements and provide timely feedback on student progress Efficiently manage your schedule and indirect service time This part-time role offers a manageable caseload, a consistent weekly schedule, and meaningful opportunities to support students growth.
