9660211-87566 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student growth through specialized physical therapy services. This part-time contract position offers the chance to work with three dedicated studentsa kindergartener, a 5th grader, and a 6th graderenhancing their school experience in a meaningful way. You'll provide direct PTA services, approximately three hours each week, with flexibility for indirect time as needed. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 20th. Working alongside a remote supervising Physical Therapist, you'll focus on delivering high-quality support within the school setting. The supervising PT will handle all evaluations and IEP requirements, allowing you to concentrate on implementing treatment plans and fostering positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid PTA licensure in New Mexico (NM) NMPED licensure required Experience providing PTA services in educational settings is highly valued Knowledge of effective therapy strategies for elementary-aged students Familiarity with supporting IEP goals and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to assigned students each week Communicate effectively with supervising PT regarding student progress Document services and observations clearly and accurately Support student participation and independence within the school environment Coordinate with school staff as needed to facilitate therapy sessions This unique contract position lets you make a real impact with a manageable caseload and a supportive, collaborative environment.
