This opportunity is based onsite and focuses on nurturing young learners by helping to develop effective behavior plans and guiding staff to manage student behaviors across various settings. The assignment covers 35 hours per week across two elementary locations, offering a range of responsibilities from pre-referral consultations to comprehensive evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist or school social worker Proven experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, ideally in elementary school settings Skilled at collaborating with teachers and staff to address behavioral and emotional needs Comfortable providing services onsite at multiple school sites Strong communication and documentation abilities Experience handling pre-referral processes and conducting student evaluations

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop tailored behavior plans in partnership with teachers and support staff Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for elementary students Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies for managing classroom behaviors Conduct pre-referral interventions and full evaluations as needed Coach and assist educators with best practices for behavioral management in classrooms and school-wide settings Provide timely reports and documentation of assessments and interventions
