Implement therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed therapist. Assist students to improve mobility, restore function, and enhance educational participation. Guide students in therapy regimens and proper use of equipment to develop strength, coordination, and fine motor skills. Support classroom positioning, joint alignment, and postural stability. Develop activities to improve sensory processing and functional daily living skills. Conduct activity/environmental analysis to remove barriers to participation. Assist with assistive technology assessments and equipment adaptations. Document therapy progress and submit reports for review. Support in-service presentations and maintain therapy supplies and equipment.What You'll Bring:
Valid OT/PT Assistant license and Ohio State Board of Education Pupil Services credentials. Knowledge of Ohio Schools Medicaid Program covered services. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. Commitment to professional conduct and ethical standards. Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
