Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will be the heartbeat of our clinic! In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly face and efficient coordinator that keeps our practice running smoothly. Duties Greet patients warmly, check-in appointments, and manage patient intake processes with professionalism and care Schedule appointments efficiently using Chirotouch electronic health record (EHR) system. Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately, and managing appointment reminders Assist with front desk operations including filing, data entry, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verifications, and handle billing processes including medical collection and coding using CPT, ICD-10, ICD-9, and ICD coding standards Support medical billing processes by submitting claims, following up on unpaid accounts, and managing collections related to medical services Maintain meticulous medical records management, including filing, scanning documents, and ensuring data integrity within EMR/EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administrative support within a clinical setting, such as chiropractic or dental clinics is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix; familiarity with Chirotouch is a plus Proficiency in medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9), insurance verification, and Medicare procedures Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards with attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills paired with clerical experience in office environments; experience with multi-line phone systems and 10-key typing is advantageous Strong organizational skills to manage appointment scheduling, filing systems, and office operations efficiently Join us in creating a positive impact every day! $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
