1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Home Health PTA with OR/WA licensure and 1+ year of skilled home health experience to serve patients in the East Portland/Clark County area. Details Home Health setting serving patients in East Portland, OR and Clark County, WA and surrounding areas Patient ratio of 1:1, visiting up to 6 patients per day with a standard of 30 productivity points Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend or on-call requirements No floating between units required Uses EPIC Remote Client for Home Health documentation on laptop and Rover phone app with OASIS Requirements Current PTA license in both Oregon and Washington required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required Must have own reliable transportation for daily patient visits, with occasional drive times of 60-90 minutes covering up to 60 miles Experience with equipment such as crutches, gait belts, walkers, and prosthetics preferred Experience with orthopedic conditions including hip fractures, joint replacements, and post-op spinal surgery preferred Experience with neurologic conditions including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred Additional Information Provide home-based physical therapy assistant services to patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions Business casual attire required; no jeans; scrubs allowed but not required Free parking provided; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate First-time travelers will be considered for this position Locals accepted within a 50-75 mile radius at the same rate Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period Facility can call off up to one shift per pay period
