Job Description We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 26-week contract assignment at an outpatient ATI Physical Therapy location in Salem, Oregon. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Educate patients on exercises and appropriate home-care techniques. Follow facility policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support patient goals. Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment. Requirements Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license . Candidates with a compact license may start , but must obtain a permanent Oregon license immediately . Previous outpatient/rehabilitation experience preferred.
Minimum experience requirement:
Less than 1 year accepted . Must be able to work a day schedule with 40 guaranteed hours per week . Must successfully complete ATI and AMN credentialing requirements.
