Contract Type FullTime Category Professional Location Edinboro , PA Salary $20.00/hr Date Published 09-22-2026 Reference Number 26150 Physical Therapist Assistant We are seeking a friendly and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide hands-on physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position works closely with patients to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence. Responsibilities Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility activities, strengthening, stretching, and aquatic therapy Monitor patient progress and response to treatment Document treatments and progress Educate patients on home exercise plans Work closely with the Physical Therapist to support individualized treatment plans Assist with additional office needs, including answering phones, as needed Qualifications and Skills Current PTA license required 1-2 years of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome Required background clearances Friendly, outgoing, patient, and positive attitude Flexible and willing to assist where needed Must be comfortable working around an indoor pool/bromine exposure
