In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to our scoliosis patient populations. You will receive extensive education on treatment of scoliosis patients. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through tailored treatment plans, specifically the Schroth Method. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in patient care, and clinical documentation will make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients in our scoliosis specific clinic. Perform therapeutic exercises using scoliosis equipment to support patient recovery. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including other therapists to coordinate patient care strategies. Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, exercises, and safety precautions to promote ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting interventions as needed based on physiology knowledge and clinical assessment findings. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience in physical therapy treatment implementation with outpatient clinics Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and related medical terminology. Proficiency in exercise equipment Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions; ability to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric, population. Ability to work collaboratively within our clinic teams to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure seamless discharge planning. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 5.0 per week
