Job Description

As a Chiropractic Assistant/Front Desk, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations at our chiropractic clinic. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk activities, assisting chiropractors with patient care, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our patients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service. At Restore Health, we have 2 locations: our main location in St. George and a satellite location in Santee. We rotate between the two on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Responsibilities of Patient Reception:
Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression. Manage patient check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism. Educate patients on treatment procedures, home care exercises, and appointments.
Administrative and Chiropractic Support:
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally. Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information. Assist chiropractors with patient care activities, including setting up treatment rooms and preparing patients for examinations. Educate patients on prescribed exercises, therapies, and post-treatment care as directed by chiropractors.
Office Organization and Appointment Management:
Keep the reception area, waiting room, and treatment rooms clean and organized. Manage inventory of office and medical supplies, and coordinate restocking as needed. Ensure all forms and documents are readily available and up to date. Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, and handle rescheduling when necessary. Monitor and manage the daily schedule to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
Qualifications and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience in a medical office or chiropractic setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical billing and insurance procedures is an advantage.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable with medical software. Ability to work collaboratively with chiropractors and other staff members. Willingness to assist in various tasks to ensure the overall efficiency of the clinic. This Chiropractic Assistant/Front Desk position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our healthcare team. Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
