$36-$40/hour | Full-Time | Flexible Weekday Schedule Do Great Therapy Without Unrealistic Productivity Pressure Are you looking for a PTA position where you can focus on meaningful resident care, work with a strong rehabilitation team, and still enjoy your weekends? The Brixton at Horseshoe Bay is a privately owned skilled nursing facility seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of more than 10 therapy professionals. We offer a manageable caseload and realistic productivity expectations—lower than those typically found with contract therapy companies. You'll have the time and support to build relationships with residents, deliver quality treatment, and see the difference your work makes. Why You'll Love Working Here $36-$40 per hour Guaranteed full-time schedule of 40 hours per week Flexible eight-hour weekday scheduling Schedule determined with both resident-care and team-member needs in mind Two weeks of paid time off Shared holiday coverage with additional holiday pay when worked Manageable caseload and realistic productivity expectations An established, collaborative team of more than 10 therapists Supportive leadership and open communication The personal, team-centered culture of a privately owned facility What You'll Do As a PTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out individualized physical therapy treatment plans Helping residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, and daily function Monitoring residents' progress and responses to treatment Promptly communicating changes in resident status to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborating with residents, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the care team Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation Meeting facility, regulatory, licensing, certification, and reimbursement requirements Supporting department operations and quality-improvement efforts Contributing to a positive, compassionate, and team-oriented environment What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas PTA license or eligibility for licensure Strong communication and documentation skills A dependable, compassionate, and resident-centered approach Commitment to teamwork and quality care Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is welcome, but not required Join a Team That Values Quality Care—and the People Who Provide It At The Brixton, our mission is simple: Rehab with Results and Care with Compassion.
