Job Description

Where Hill Country Hospitality Meets Lakefront Luxury Picture this: sparkling Lake LBJ outside the door, Texas Hill Country sunsets on the horizon, and a dining room filled with members and guests who expect every meal to feel like an occasion. At Horseshoe Bay Resort, we don't simply serve dinner—we create the kind of evenings people talk about long after the last glass is cleared. We're looking for a polished, spirited hospitality leader to take the helm of an exceptional yacht club fine-dining experience. This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone who knows that memorable service is equal parts precision, personality, anticipation, and heart. Horseshoe Bay is no ordinary workplace. It's a vibrant lakeside community in the heart of the Texas Hill Country—where boating days, championship golf, resort energy, and warm Southern hospitality come together. Just a scenic drive from Austin, it offers the rare chance to build a standout career in a destination that feels like a getaway every day. Make Every Service Worth Remembering You'll be the driving force behind a sophisticated dining operation, setting the pace, elevating standards, and inspiring a team to deliver gracious, seamless, detail-rich service. From a perfectly timed entrée to a warm welcome for a returning member, you'll ensure every touchpoint reflects the quality and character of Horseshoe Bay Resort. Lead, coach, and energize a service team that takes genuine pride in exceeding expectations. Oversee daily front-of-house operations with a sharp eye for service, presentation, pacing, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Partner closely with culinary, beverage, events, and resort leadership teams to create a polished, profitable, and unforgettable dining experience. Build meaningful relationships with members, guests, and colleagues—because the best hospitality feels personal. Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, revenue opportunities, operating costs, and service standards with confidence and accountability. Handle guest feedback with professionalism, poise, and a solution-first mindset. Develop talent, celebrate wins, and create a culture where people are proud to bring their best. Bring The Presence, Passion, And Precision You're a natural host with an operator's discipline. You can read a dining room in seconds, rally a team before a busy service, and turn a guest concern into a lasting impression of care. You understand that fine dining is never stuffy—it's intentional, welcoming, and beautifully executed. Experience leading upscale, luxury, fine-dining, private club, resort, or high-volume hospitality operations. A strong command of food, wine, beverage, and elevated service standards. Proven success developing teams, managing performance, and creating a positive, accountable workplace culture. Business acumen with experience in budgeting, labor management, cost control, and revenue growth. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse membership, guest, and employee community. A calm, confident, hands-on leadership style—especially when the dining room is buzzing. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods. Why Horseshoe Bay Resort? Because this is more than a restaurant leadership role. It's a chance to shape the guest experience at a celebrated Hill Country destination where lake life and luxury hospitality go hand in hand. You'll work among passionate professionals, serve a discerning and engaged community, and enjoy the unmistakable energy of a resort known for recreation, relaxation, and remarkable moments. Bring your leadership. Bring your hospitality instinct. Bring your ability to make the ordinary feel extraordinary. The lake is calling—and so is an exceptional opportunity to lead.
