Licensure/Certs:

Active TX or Compact PTA license Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs across various clinical settings. Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques aimed at improving mobility and reducing discomfort. Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately following established medical documentation standards. Operate and maintain medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients to ensure comprehensive care coordination and discharge planning. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently by documenting treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress notes clearly and thoroughly. Support patient education efforts by communicating care plans, treatment goals, and home exercise programs in an understandable manner. Participate in ongoing training related to orthopedic care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient therapy to stay current with industry best practices. Assist with the setup of therapy sessions, ensuring proper use of medical equipment and supplies. Contribute to maintaining compliance with clinical documentation standards and healthcare regulations.
