Pampa Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, assisting in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in outpatient and/or acute care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional mobility training. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license . Current BLS certification (AHA) required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in outpatient or acute care settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
Pay:
