We provide patient-centered care with clear clinical standards, supportive leadership, and strong communication. Position Summary VIGEO Home Health is hiring Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist Assistants for PRN or part-time W-2 home health visits. This role is built for PTAs who want flexible scheduling, defined local territories, and meaningful one-on-one patient care in the home. As a PTA with VIGEO, you will carry out PT-established plans of care while staying connected to supervising physical therapists and the interdisciplinary team. Coverage Areas Current priority regions include Centreville/Fairfax, Reston/Herndon, Ashburn/Sterling, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities. Additional nearby communities may include Aldie, Chantilly, Leesburg, McLean, Arlington, and nearby areas based on clinician availability and patient need. We confirm the ZIP codes and communities you can realistically cover before assigning visits. Assignments outside your agreed territory are offered only if you choose to accept them. This Role Offers A defined primary territory built around your realistic service area Flexible PRN or part-time scheduling based on your availability and accepted assignments PRN W-2 employment with compensation processed through VIGEO payroll Minimum expectation of 8 visits per month, with the ability to accept more visits as census and availability allow Competitive pay-per-visit compensation by visit type Mileage reimbursement according to agency policy Performance bonus opportunities for approved weekend, volume, last-minute, or outside-territory coverage when applicable Geographic grouping of visits whenever census and scheduling permit Secure VIGEO Chat App communication for scheduling, updates, and care coordination; no personal texting or calls for work communication Mobile-friendly clinical workflow support, including WellSky/Kinnser onboarding and documentation guidance Paid onboarding, required training, and approved administrative work Clear PT-established plans of care and communication support from supervising PTs Compensation Indeed displays $65

  • 75 per hour.

VIGEO uses a W-2 pay-per-visit model, not a guaranteed hourly schedule. One completed PTA visit, including patient care and related documentation, may total about 45-60 minutes, but actual time varies by visit type, patient needs, travel, and documentation complexity. Paid onboarding, required training, and approved non-visit administrative time are compensated separately. Final visit categories and rates will be reviewed before hire. Patient volume can vary by territory, referral need, and your availability. What You'll Do Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under PT-established plans of care Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, mobility interventions, and home safety reinforcement Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, equipment use, and safe mobility strategies Monitor patient progress and communicate updates, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising PT and care team Complete timely documentation in WellSky/Kinnser according to Medicare home health standards Support patient-centered goals focused on mobility, strength, safety, and functional independence Requirements Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current CPR certification Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Ability to travel to patient homes in the mutually agreed Northern Virginia service area Ability to complete VIGEO onboarding, EMR training, competency validation, and required compliance training Comfortable accepting at least 8 visits per month once fully onboarded and active Strongly Preferred Home health or Medicare-certified home health experience Two or more years of clinical experience Experience with geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, post-hospitalization, fall-risk, or mobility-focused patients WellSky/Kinnser or comparable home health EMR experience How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
