Position Summary VIGEO Home Health is hiring full-time Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for skilled home health visits across Northern Virginia. This role is built for PTAs who want consistent visit volume, defined local territories, and meaningful one-on-one patient care in the home. As a PTA with VIGEO, you will carry out PT-established plans of care while staying connected to supervising physical therapists and the interdisciplinary team. Service Area Primary service areas include Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Aldie, Burke, Centreville, Fairfax, Gainesville, Great Falls, Herndon, Leesburg, Reston, Springfield, and Vienna. We confirm the ZIP codes and communities you can realistically cover before assigning visits. Patient assignments are grouped geographically whenever possible to reduce drive time. Assignments outside your agreed territory are offered only if you choose to accept them. This Role Offers Full-time W-2 employee position with compensation processed through VIGEO payroll Consistent home health visit volume based on patient census, service area, and clinical fit Competitive pay-per-visit compensation by visit type Mileage reimbursement according to agency policy Performance bonus opportunities for approved weekend, volume, last-minute, or outside-territory coverage when applicable Geographic grouping of visits whenever census and scheduling permit Secure VIGEO Chat App communication for scheduling, updates, and care coordination; no personal texting or calls for work communication Mobile-friendly clinical workflow support, including WellSky/Kinnser onboarding and documentation guidance Paid onboarding, required training, and approved administrative work Clear PT-established plans of care and communication support from supervising PTs Training Requirement This is a W-2 position with required onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training, including participation in scheduled clinical, documentation, EMR, competency, and compliance training sessions as required to support patient care standards, onboarding progress, and agency operations. Compensation Pay is $65-$75 per completed visit, based on visit type and final rate review. VIGEO uses a W-2 pay-per-visit model, not a guaranteed hourly schedule. One completed PTA visit, including patient care and related documentation, may total about 45-60 minutes, but actual time varies by visit type, patient needs, travel, and documentation complexity. Paid onboarding, required training, and approved non-visit administrative time are compensated separately. Final visit categories and rates will be reviewed before hire. Patient volume can vary by territory, referral need, and clinician availability. What You'll Do Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under PT-established plans of care Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, mobility interventions, and home safety reinforcement Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, equipment use, and safe mobility strategies Monitor patient progress and communicate updates, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising PT and care team Complete timely documentation in WellSky/Kinnser according to Medicare home health standards Support patient-centered goals focused on mobility, strength, safety, and functional independence Requirements Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current CPR certification Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Ability to travel to patient homes in the mutually agreed Northern Virginia service area Ability to complete VIGEO onboarding, EMR training, competency validation, and required compliance training Ability to maintain a full-time home health schedule once fully onboarded and active Strongly Preferred Home health or Medicare-certified home health experience Two or more years of clinical experience Experience with geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, post-hospitalization, fall-risk, or mobility-focused patients WellSky/Kinnser or comparable home health EMR experience How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
