Job Description
Summit Rehabilitation Associates is a privately owned outpatient practice serving the greater Spokane area through five clinic locations . With a long-standing reputation for providing comprehensive Physical and Occupational Therapy , we take pride in delivering exceptional care and fostering strong connections within our community. We are currently seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Job Requirements We are looking for a compassionate, motivated individual who values professional growth and teamwork. Must hold a current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant license . Enthusiastic about working with diverse patient populations , including injured workers. Comfortable working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care using sound clinical judgment and skill. Demonstrates strong communication skills , empathy, and a genuine desire to positively impact patients' lives. Possesses excellent time management and documentation skills , with a commitment to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice. Responsibilities:
Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various conditions and injuries Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the physical therapist Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed Maintain a clean and organized treatment areaExperience:
Previous experience as a physical therapist assistant preferred Knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols Familiarity with therapeutic exercises and modalities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare teamNote:
