You'll need to be comfortable with the basics: insurance and billing, EHRs, scheduling, patient screening, and figuring out what type of appointment and amount of time a patient actually needs. You'll also be juggling phones, check-ins, checkouts, scheduling, and whatever else pops up. And yes, there will be a lot happening at once. We're a high-volume clinic, but we don't do high-stress. Our patients should feel that the moment they walk through the door, and you'll play a big part in making that happen. More importantly, You enjoy getting to know patients—not just remembering their appointment time, but remembering them . Their name. What they're working on. The little things they told you last time. Because around here, connection matters. What You'll Be Doing Connecting with and taking care of patients Answering phones and helping patients figure out what they need Scheduling appointments and coordinating the flow of the clinic Checking patients in and out Screening patients and determining the appropriate appointment type/time Working in our EHR and learning our systems Keeping things organized when there are a lot of moving pieces Helping create the kind of environment where patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for For the right person, there's potential to grow into a management role over time. We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, is reliable, notices what needs to be done, and starts thinking about the bigger picture—not someone who only does what's written on the checklist. Leadership, initiative, and reliability will open doors here. You'll Be A Good Fit If… You've worked in a medical office before (or have equivalent experience) You have some basic familiarity with insurance and billing You've worked with an EHR and aren't intimidated by learning new software You can keep several things moving at once without losing your cool You're good at figuring out what a patient actually needs You genuinely enjoy talking to people and getting to know them You understand the difference between "providing customer service" and actually making someone feel cared for You're friendly and personable without being fake or overly "customer-service voice" You like being part of a team where people care about doing good work What We Offer Flexible time off Health & wellness care package with customizable options Access to personal development, health, and business education Bonus opportunities with real potential to increase as you grow within the role Opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow into leadership/management If you're looking for a front desk job where you can actually know your patients, make an impact, and be part of a team you enjoy working with , we'd love to hear from you. Walk us through what you would ask before deciding how soon they should be seen, what type of appointment they need, and whether the doctor needs to be involved before scheduling. The front desk is busy, phones are ringing, and a patient becomes upset and demands your immediate attention. How would you handle the patient without escalating the situation or allowing the rest of the clinic to fall apart? Walk us through what you would actually do. What does building a genuine relationship with patients look like to you? Give an example of the kinds of things you would notice, remember, or do over time so patients feel known and cared for rather than treated like another appointment.
