Role:
Stargait Management Group Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities:
Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and motor skill development Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and communicating changes to the supervising PT Engage children in fun, age-appropriate therapeutic activities to promote participation and motivation Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators Maintain a safe, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment
Requirements:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active PTA licensure in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start) Experience or strong interest in pediatric physical therapy Knowledge of pediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and orthopedic disorders Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families Excellent documentation and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
