Job Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work with our Rehab Services Department. The P.T. Assistant will assist the physical therapist in the planning and conduction of various physical therapy treatments and patient education programs. Incumbent will observe, record and report on patient's condition, reaction and response to treatment to the physical therapists. Assists in scheduling and prompt recording of patient charges. Also, assists in training and orienting students, new employees or volunteers.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required PTA program completion required (2 year Associate Degree) Licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Physical Therapy required Must be able to lift equipment up to 75 pounds from floor to waist level or support patients of 250 or more pounds
