Job Description

Allied Health Solutions Medical Group is a primary care group based in Inglewood, CA, focused on delivering compassionate care to the elderly and individuals across the Los Angeles area. We provide on-site services at assisted living centers, residential care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and senior homes. Allied Health Solutions also offers medical disability evaluations, and collaborates with local providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated treatment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient-centered care team. This role involves delivering primary and behavioral health support across various community and facility-based settings. Ideal candidates must have experience with Managed Care populations and a strong commitment to underserved and geriatric communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical exams Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Develop individualized, patient-focused treatment plans Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in Electronic Health Records (EHR) Participate in patient case reviews with the Medical Director Collaborate with care teams including behavioral health, nursing, and specialty providers Complete and process patient-related forms, including insurance, FMLA/intermittent leave forms, DMV forms, jury duty forms, and in-home supportive services forms Deliver services in assisted living facilities and community-based settings Contribute to quality improvement and care coordination programs
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current California PA license and NCCPA certification DEA license (required) Minimum 2 year of experience in Managed Care or similar patient populations Strong proficiency in EHR medical documentation Reliable, communicative, and organized with strong team collaboration skills Availability for regular case reviews with clinical leadership Compassion for geriatric and mentally ill patients in underserved settings Experience with hierarchical coding systems Candidates must be willing and able to travel as necessary Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
