Job Description
Hello! Seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time urgent care locums assignment in Southern California.
- ASAP start | 3-month assignment
- 4 shifts per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- No call responsibilities
- Full-time availability required
- Urgent Care and Same-Day Access setting
- Treat a variety of acute conditions and injuries, including colds, flu, fractures, laceration repair, incision & drainage, toenail removal, and X-ray interpretation
- Approximately 3 patients per hour
- Dedicated LVN and MA support
- Epic-based EMR
- Active California NP or PA license
- Furnishing License (if applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Board-Certified NP or PA
- Minimum 1 year of recent higher-acuity Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience within the last 3 years
- Comfortable with telehealth, video, and telephone visits Enjoy year-round sunshine, beautiful mountain and desert landscapes, and easy access to world-class beaches, hiking, and outdoor recreation.
Pay:
$130.00 - $170.00 per hourBenefits:
