Opportunity Information Sansum , now part of Sutter Health, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Orthopedic Surgery team in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. The APC will play a key role supporting both clinic and surgical care, with a strong emphasis on total joint procedures.
Scope of Practice:
Independent clinic panel with referrals to orthopedic surgeons Pre- and post-operative patient management First assist in the
OR Team Structure:
Support 2 orthopedic surgeons Practice focus on general orthopedics with emphasis on total joint surgery
Call:
Shared call schedule (approximately Q3 after-hours call )
Compensation Model:
Base salary Bonus for new patient consults wRVU production bonus Call stipend This role offers a balanced mix of autonomy and team collaboration, ideal for an APC who enjoys both clinic continuity and surgical involvement.
