Physician's Assistant, PA-C Overview:
We are seeking a Physician's Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. Join a team that's dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. You'll be an integral part of a patient's journey, providing support and care to those undergoing lymphedema treatment, facial reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and other transformative procedures. Witnessing the incredible results firsthand will be incredibly rewarding.Job Type:
Full-time, 40 hours/weekResponsibilities:
- Assist surgeons in the operating room with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests.
- Provide pre- and post-operative consultations
- Complete hospital rounds
- Complete in-office procedures and imaging
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery.
- Manage patient records and document medical progress.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). 5 years of experience, preferably in Breast Reconstruction or Surgery Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Type:
