Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

  • Evaluate and manage general dermatologic conditions
  • Perform complete skin examinations
  • Diagnose and treat common skin disorders
  • Perform appropriate dermatologic procedures, including biopsies and cryotherapy
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and skin health
  • Document visits accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with our dermatologist and clinical team Qualifications
  • Current Florida Physician Assistant license
  • Prior dermatology experience required
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient dermatology setting
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Schedule
  • Part-time
  • 1 clinical day per week initially
