What they do
A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
- Evaluate and manage general dermatologic conditions
- Perform complete skin examinations
- Diagnose and treat common skin disorders
- Perform appropriate dermatologic procedures, including biopsies and cryotherapy
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and skin health
- Document visits accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with our dermatologist and clinical team Qualifications
- Current Florida Physician Assistant license
- Prior dermatology experience required
- Strong clinical and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient dermatology setting
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Schedule
- Part-time
- 1 clinical day per week initially
