This is a per-diem position with the opportunity to expand as surgical volume and the hair restoration program continue to grow. The incoming provider will step into an established program with existing clinical protocols, surgical workflows, documentation, patient education, inventory systems, pre- and postoperative processes, and prescription hair restoration products already in place.

Prior hands-on hair transplant experience is required. This position is intended for a provider who already has a strong foundation in FUE and/or DHI hair transplantation and can evaluate and manage hair restoration patients. Experience with DHI/DFI is strongly preferred. However, an experienced FUE provider with the appropriate surgical background may be considered and trained in the program's specific DHI technique and workflow. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive in-person or virtual hair restoration consultations, including evaluation of hair-loss pattern and progression, donor availability, patient goals, and realistic expectations. Determine both medical and cosmetic candidacy for surgical hair restoration and develop individualized treatment plans, including anticipated graft requirements. Educate patients regarding surgical and nonsurgical hair restoration options, expected outcomes, limitations, recovery, and long-term maintenance. Complete preoperative evaluations and surgical clearance, including ordering and reviewing laboratory testing. Collaborate with the practice's plastic surgeon/medical director as needed. Develop an aesthetic hair restoration plan for each patient, including natural hairline design, hair mapping, and donor assessment. Perform local anesthesia and scalp nerve blocks. Perform FUE-style extraction using a motorized punch system. Perform recipient-site creation and/or DHI implantation using Choi-style implanter pens, based on provider experience and procedural technique. Direct and oversee experienced hair transplant technicians throughout the procedure to ensure graft integrity. Provide intraoperative management and recognize and appropriately address patient discomfort, bleeding, and other procedural concerns. Review postoperative care and recovery expectations with patients and provide appropriate postoperative follow-up, including assessment of donor and recipient healing, scab removal, and growth progression. Manage patient questions or clinical concerns throughout the postoperative recovery period. Maintain sterile/aseptic technique at all times and assist with infection-control practices throughout the procedure. Evaluate patients for appropriate medical hair-loss therapy and prescribe oral, topical, or nutraceutical treatment when indicated, including the practice's customized compounded topical hair restoration formulations. Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with established practice protocols. Collaborate with the medical director, hair transplant technicians, clinical staff, and administrative staff to maintain consistent standards of care across both locations. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current and unrestricted Florida PA or APRN license. Ability to travel to the Melbourne and Tampa regions. Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on FUE and/or DHI hair transplant experience. Demonstrated experience evaluating hair transplant candidates and participating directly in surgical hair restoration procedures with before and after photos. Strong understanding of donor management, graft planning, hairline design, follicular unit handling, perioperative care, and postoperative management. Current prescribing authority appropriate to professional licensure and role. DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain DEA registration. Current BLS certification. Ability and willingness to provide clinical and procedural coverage at both Florida locations. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, manual dexterity, communication skills, and ability to work efficiently during long surgical procedures.
