Please independently verify any critical information before relying on it. Description Join Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital's Cardiothoracic Surgery team! We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide advanced care for patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Manage cardiothoracic surgery patients across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases, including follow-up after discharge. Perform patient evaluations, place orders, and maintain accurate EMR documentation (progress notes, consultations, discharge summaries, patient education).
Operating Room Duties:
Conduit harvesting for CABG (endoscopic and open vein and radial artery). First assist during cardiac and thoracic cases (CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysm/dissection surgeries). Cross-coverage for thoracic cases (open and minimally invasive esophagectomies, lung resections via VATS).
Clinic Duties:
Office visits, minor procedures, patient/family education, and follow-up care. Preferred Qualifications Pursuing candidates with experience at this time.
