Job Description

Job Summary Medlink Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team in New Orleans, LA (70129) . In this in-person primary care role, you will deliver high-quality, comprehensive health services to patients of all ages. We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $140,000 per year , relocation assistance, and an efficient onboarding process with a hiring timeline of 3-7 days. Key Responsibilities Perform routine physical examinations, health assessments, and preventative screenings. Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic illnesses for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging) to formulate evidence-based treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely patient charts in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Educate patients and families on preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and wellness strategies. Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians, nurses, and medical support staff.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure:
Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the state of Louisiana (or eligible for state licensure/relocation).
Certification:
Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP.
Prescriptive Authority:
Active DEA license and prescriptive authority in Louisiana (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Experience:
Previous clinical practice as an FNP in primary care or family practice preferred (motivated new graduates are welcome to apply).
Skills:
Excellent communication, strong clinical judgment, proficiency with EHR systems, and a patient-centered bedside manner. Bilingual in
