A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
- Integrated Disability Evaluation System Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for an Deployment Health Physician Assistant working with military families at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC
- PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory.
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA)
- Have at least 24 months of experience as a Physician Assistant within the last 36 months
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Any State)
- BLS
Work Schedule:
- Monday
- Friday
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- 8 hours a day
