  • Schedule & Commitment
  • Contingent position requiring 2 shifts per 6-week period (1 weekend shift, 1 holiday shift) Rotating 12-hour shifts (6 PM-6 AM and 6 AM-6 PM) No on-call requirements
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions across specialty and invasive procedures Order, review, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging studies; conduct specialty consultations and escalate complex cases to attending physicians Perform rounding activities, manage patient follow-ups, and communicate clinical findings to patients and care team members Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and participate in care coordination meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters while adhering to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Required Qualifications Master's degree in nursing (NP) or Bachelor's degree/AMA-approved Physician Assistant program (PA) with current state licensure and national certification (CNP or NCCPA).
Current RN license (NPs) or Michigan state licensure (PAs). Current BLS and
ACLS/ATLS/PALS
provider certification as required by department. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Cardiovascular Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care, or Urology.
