Join Our Caring and Dynamic Neurology Team working to better the lives of Mid-Missourians. The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Specialty Care for multiple settings. These positions provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic.
Opportunity Highlights:
Inpatient RoleFull-time FTE:
13 12-hour shifts per month- Schedule includes some weekend coverage
- Collaborative team of six NP/PAs in the Neurocritical Care Unit
- Flexible scheduling with multiple days off
- No call required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent and collaborative care for neurological patients in an outpatient setting
- Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
- Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes
- Perform treatments and interventions, educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research
