Job Summary We are seeking a committed and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Practice care team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality primary patient care in a clinic office setting, collaborating closely with the on-site physician and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will support accurate diagnoses, effective treatment plans, and comprehensive patient management, ensuring optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history intake Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and regulatory guidelines Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, injection administration, lesion removal, and aseptic techniques Manage patients with both acute and long term chronic care conditions Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance Engage in coaching, patient education, and preventive care initiatives to promote wellness and total health management Requirements Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Demonstrated experience in primary care settings Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic, EClinicalWorks, or Azalea; familiarity with EMR/EHR management is essential Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for billing purposes Experience with common medical procedures including suturing, lesion removals, pap smears, etc, is preferred Primary care experience is highly desirable Having a clean professional record is expected. Any and all discrepancies are required to be disclosed upon application Provide routine immunizations, screenings, and wellness counseling Ability to order, execute, and interpret lab tests, bloodwork, and X-rays so as to inform medical decisions effectively Excellent client communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with other medical professionals Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and drug enforcement regulations related to medication prescribing and controlled substances management Current Missouri State Medical License, Federal DEA License, and Missouri Medicaid provider number is a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
