Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Seam Welder/Roll Operator/Shell-Cylinder Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding, precise roll operations, and shell-cylinder fabrication. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality pressurized stainless-steel tanks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills in an environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Operate a seam welder to join sheet metal and metal materials according to blueprints and specifications Operate roll machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and form stainless- steel sheet metal and metal components with precision Operate and care for Automatic Welder, Roll, Floor Grinder to create components for manufacture. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of shell cylinders Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively during fabrication processes Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies throughout all tasks Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring quality control and timely completion of projects Requirements Proven experience in stainless-steel metal fabrication, metal welding (including
FCAW, MIG, TIG, SMAW
), and shell-cylinder manufacturing within a construction or fabrication shop environment. 3G Weld test required Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, shop math, and interpreting technical drawings Ability to operate fabrication machinery confidently Skilled in the use of measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a evolving environment while maintaining high safety standards.
