LOCUM TENEN

Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a 26-week locum tenens assignment at a Level II Trauma facility near Charlotte, North Carolina. This position provides inpatient vascular surgery coverage with a predictable schedule and no call or clinic responsibilities.

Position Details Schedule:

Four (4) 10-hour day shifts per week

Weekend Call/Coverage:

1:4 weekend rotation (Sat/Sun)

Coverage:

Inpatient vascular surgery

Clinic:

None First Assisting:

Not required; preferred Clinical Responsibilities The APP will provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage and work collaboratively with vascular surgeons and the multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities may include:

Inpatient evaluation and management of vascular surgery patients Daily patient rounds and follow-up care Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the vascular surgery team Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals Assist with admissions, consultations, and discharges Perform procedures within the provider's scope of practice and facility privileges First assisting in the operating room when needed and within scope Provide patient and family education Complete accurate and timely documentation in Epic Requirements Active North Carolina PA or NP license required Vascular surgery experience strongly preferred Inpatient hospital experience required Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the vascular surgery team First-assist experience: Preferred, not required Interested?
