May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description

Advanced Spine & Pain Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or NP-C) to join our growing team!! This is a solo-Physician Practice owned by Rachid Idrissi PhD, MD which was established in 2009. Over the years we have grown to locations in Clayton, Fuquay Varina, Lillington, Benson, Fayetteville, and Lumberton. We are seeking to add to our Fayetteville and Benson locations. Provider will staff the Benson location for part of each week and Fayetteville location the other part of the week. Schedule will be consistent and Provider will have their own patient population. Duties include but not limited to: Seeing and assessing new patients as well as established patients. Diagnosing medical and surgical problems as well as formulating an accurate treatment plan through performing a thorough history and physical exam as well as review of available diagnostic tests. Treatments include performing therapeutic injections, ordering image guided procedures, ordering any diagnostic tests required, and prescribing necessary medications, including controlled substances, in a responsible manner as defined by recommendations through pertinent medical entities as well as Practice protocol. Position requires graduation from an accredited program. Must have current active license in the state of North Carolina, current DEA license preferred but not required. Full-time Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift Monday - Thursdays, 1/2 day Fridays.
  • No Holidays or Weekends.
  • No hospital privileges.
  • Call coverage involves Providers own patients.
