Compensation $90,000 starting base salary Additional compensation based on collections Strong earning potential with an established patient base Immediate opportunity for productivity and practice growth Practice Highlights Medical dermatology only Established referral network with consistent patient volume Dedicated Medical Assistant support Experienced clinical and administrative staff In-house dermatopathology support for efficient biopsy turnaround Flexible scheduling Multi-location physician-owned practice with operational stability No hospital call responsibilities Collaborative physician leadership and mentorship Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of medical dermatologic conditions Perform comprehensive skin examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin disorders Perform skin biopsies and other office-based dermatologic procedures within scope of practice Educate patients on treatment plans, skin cancer prevention, and overall skin health Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification Current or eligible for North Carolina Physician Assistant licensure Previous dermatology experience required Ability to step into an established practice and manage patients independently Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and excellent interpersonal communication Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care Why Elizabeth City?
