Leland, NC Job Description :
Functions independently as an APP (PA or FNP) staffing Assigned Clinic, performing comprehensive histories, relevant physical exams, and diagnosis/treatment of patients.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited PA program that is AMA approved or a graduate of an accredited FNP program. Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or the NC Board of Nursing. Must meet the credential requirements of Columbus Regional Healthcare active staff and remain in good standing as an active staff member, as applicable. Maintains current
BLS & ACLS
certification. (ACLS certification within 180 days post hire)
Preferred:
Two years clinical experience preferred. Experience in practicing in an independent setting preferred.
Experience :
Two years clinical experience preferred. Experience in practicing in an independent setting preferred. Able to communicate with patients, family and staff in a professional, friendly manner. Proven working relationship with physicians and surgeons. Experience with patient/staff education. Strong detail-orientation and follow-up capacity. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Demonstrated success in relationship building. Ability to keep team focused on goals/timelines. Customer service focused. Strong data analysis skills that require interpretation of clinical results to develop program improvement projects. Experience in achieving results and working with process management.
