A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Locums -

Southern New Hampshire NP/PA Urgent Care Job Clinical Role:

Locum tenens job opening Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant Must have at least one year of post-training experience Coverage dates: September 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27 Must be available for at least one of the listed dates to be considered Ongoing coverage opportunity; additional PRN shifts may become available

Schedule:

Weekdays:

8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

Weekends:

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Traditional standalone urgent care setting Single-provider coverage See approximately 20-25 patients per day Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages Must be able to perform traditional urgent care procedures DOT certification is not required
