$55-$58/hour (All-Inclusive Rate) Weekends & Major Holidays Off Responsibilities As a Physician Assistant, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services for Port Authority and PATH employees, including: Perform injury-on-duty evaluations and assessments Conduct fitness-for-duty examinations Complete annual employee physical examinations Perform DOT and Non-DOT pre-employment and promotional physicals Conduct OSHA and federally mandated medical examinations Evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related illnesses and injuries Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals Educate employees on workplace health, injury prevention, and wellness Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and occupational health regulations Provide follow-up care and return-to-work recommendations Requirements Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in New York or New Jersey (must be valid for assigned work location) Minimum 1 year of Occupational Medicine experience Experience performing occupational health physicals and medical evaluations Knowledge of DOT, Non-DOT, OSHA, and federally mandated examinations
Pay:
$55.00 - $58.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Certified Medical Examiner (Required) PA-C for NJ and NY (Required)
