A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Salary commensurate with experience, with an opportunity for additional incentive bonuses. Will be working as a second provider. Experience must include the ability to independently perform common minor procedures including suturing, splinting, draining abscesses, etc. Ability to assess acuity of patients, diagnose and treat common minor illnesses/conditions such as URI, UTI, sprains and strains, acute pain conditions, etc. We offer state-of-the-art facility with onsite X-ray, labs, and EMR in a comfortable and rewarding environment. No call, Full support staff. Malpractice with tail will be covered with an A rated policy. Weekdays (11.5 hrs) and Weekends (8 hrs) shiftEducation & Experience:
Completion of a Physician Assistant education program. Current valid NJ state medical license and DEA. Have good clinical skills and bedside manner.Job Type:
