Annual Job Summary:

Seeking a Physician Assistant to provide orthopedic patient care under the supervision of an orthopedic physician. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient histories and physical examinations. Evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions within scope of practice. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, EMG, and bone scans. Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with supervising orthopedic surgeons. Assist with surgeries and conduct hospital rounds. Take assigned clinical call. Perform orthopedic procedures, including: Joint and bursa aspirations Injections Fracture and dislocation reductions Digital blocks Wound management Casting, splinting, and bracing Minor outpatient procedures Prescribe and administer medications and orthopedic devices as permitted by scope of practice. Maintain accurate clinical and billing documentation. Participate in professional education and approved organizational activities. Maintain required professional licenses, DEA registration, and hospital/ASC credentials. Comply with applicable Oregon laws, regulations, and professional standards. Qualifications Current eligibility/licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Oregon. Orthopedic clinical experience preferred based on the responsibilities of the position. Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff.
