A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Join a collaborative Behavioral Health team with two physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers, delivering high-quality outpatient psychiatric care in a supportive, team-based environment. Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), some scheduling flexibility, and no call responsibilities. 2 remote days per week and preferrably 1-2 evenings. Practice primarily outpatient psychiatry, providing medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and follow-up care with manageable patient volumes averaging 15 patients per day. Opportunity for additional compensation through optional inpatient coverage, including weekend stipend opportunities and compensation for admissions, discharges, and follow-up visits. Open to both experienced providers and motivated new graduates, with a preference for Nurse Practitioners interested in behavioral health and psychiatric medication management.
