Position Description:
- LGHP Geriatrics is seeking an
- Experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- to join their
- Weekend Inpatient Consult Service Team
- . This
- 0.2-0.5 FTE role
- can be combined with another internal APP position and is ideal for those seeking a non-traditional schedule and the opportunity to blend inpatient and outpatient care. This role is comprised of
- Geriatric Consult Service rounding in the hospital setting.
- The Geriatrics team, consisting of 40 physicians and advanced practice providers, provides high quality care to the frail geriatric population in a variety of service areas including the outpatient office, nursing home, hospital consult service, and home care.
Hours:
- 0.2 - 0.5 FTE
- weekendist position;
- working every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner
- + Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania + Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse + Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required (Acute Care NP certification required) + Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred
- Physician Assistant
- + Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine. + Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program. + Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant highly preferred
