Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Provide orthopedic care services to patients under the supervision of a physician
  • Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for acute conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience in orthopedics, spine, and interventional pain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Summary The Physician Assistant-Certified role requires a skilled professional with experience in medical office operations, patient care, and health coaching. Proficiency in patient assessment, conducting physical examinations, and documenting treatment plan in the medical record is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and basic life support is crucial. Premium skills such as experience with E-Clinical Works is a plus. Relevant skills in data management, use of Outlook, and EMR systems will also be beneficial for this position.
