Job Description Job Description Position Overview:

Dogwood Medical Group, a patient-centered medical practice located in Gainesville, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive primary care services to adult patients (ages 18+), including routine visits and basic gynecologic care (optional), with no required procedures. Our practice is known for its high-quality care and supportive environment, which includes our friendly office dog who works full-time alongside our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services including routine visits, annual physical exams and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits. Manage a patient panel of adults aged 18 and older, seeing approximately 15 patients per day. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Emphasize preventive care and health education. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

Certification:

Must be a certified Physician Assistant.

Licensure:

Active Virginia license or willingness to obtain one.

Experience:

Preferred 1+ year of post-graduate experience in a primary care setting; however, exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Personal Attributes:

Must have a fondness for dogs, as our office dog is an integral part of our team.
