Winchester Cardiology and Vascular Medicine is the leading cardiology practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered cardiovascular care across the Shenandoah Valley. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant to join our highly collaborative team of cardiologists and advanced practice clinicians in a state-of-the-art facility seamlessly connected to the Winchester Medical Center. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care across both inpatient and outpatient settings while working alongside a diverse group of specialists, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure, and structural heart experts. As a Physician Assistant at Winchester Cardiology, you will be an integral part of a progressive practice that values clinical excellence, innovation, and teamwork. With access to advanced technology, modern facilities, and EPIC across inpatient and outpatient settings, this position is ideal for a PA seeking both professional fulfillment and work-life balance in a supportive, high-performing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the outpatient cardiology clinic, including evaluation, follow-up visits, and ongoing management of cardiac conditions. Conduct inpatient rounding on cardiology patients in collaboration with the supervising cardiologist. Respond to patient messages, phone calls, and clinical inquiries through EPIC and other communication channels, providing timely assessment and coordination of care. Document all patient encounters in accordance with CMS and practice standards, including comprehensive note writing, test result review, follow-up communication, and obtaining informed consents when appropriate. Assist with inpatient discharges, including patient education, medication reconciliation, discharge orders, and coordination of follow-up care. Review and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and communicate findings to the care team as appropriate. Respond to emergency department notifications or clinical codes to support cardiology consultations and acute patient care when needed. Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Schedule Weekday schedule only (Monday- Friday) with options of (4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8-hour shifts per week No weekends No evening/night call or weekend call Select holidays are scheduled off and paid Compensation $105,000
